Greenwood ADB VP

Asian Development Bank Board of Directors has extended the term of vice-president Lawrence Greenwood(jr) by two years to 27 february 2011. Greenwood previously Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs,US Department of State, took office at ADB on february 28,2006 on a three year term.As vice-president for operation 2,Greenwood is responsible for the work of ADB's East Asia and southeast Asia Department.

Prime Commercial Bank Ltd will float its shares from may 24 through issue manager Citizen Investment trust. The bank is opening initial public offering of 3 million unit shares worth Rs 300 million including 120,000 unit shares allocated for employees.

The department of immigration and citizenship's National Office in Canberra, Australia has chosen Nabil Bank Ltd- as one of the 'acceptable financial institutions' to arrange necessary funding in the form of education loans to all nepali students who wish to pursue their further studies in Australia.
